Managing Director & Co-Founder
Dov has over 20 years experience in the TV industry. His ambitious popular factual hits for UK television include The Island with Bear Grylls, An Hour to Save Your Life, Banged up Abroad, Barbie: The Most Famous Doll in the World and Outside Man for Netflix. He has a strong track record in winning new business and originated and oversaw Charlie’s acclaimed documentaries The Trouble With Dad, The Last Nazis and Young Soldiers.
Creative Director & Co-Founder
Charlie is a double BAFTA and EMMY award-winning director who has made over 20 documentaries for British television, including the highly acclaimed Chris Packham: Asperger’s & Me, (winner, Best Director, Factual, BAFTA 2018) and his seminal film about assisted dying with Sir Terry Pratchett, Choosing To Die, which won every major documentary award including the BAFTA, EMMY, Grierson and RTS, and was debated in Parliament.
Head Of Production
Nicky has spent 10 years in production management across multiplatform broadcast, branded & commercial content, delivering to major UK & US broadcasters, SVOD platforms & international brands. She started her career in the BBC Factual team and has worked for a number of major indies, where she first met Dov and Charlie. Nicky has been with Curious since the first few months of the company starting.
After a career in law, Yasmin joined Curious in 2019. Her first credits include Squad Goals (series 2 of BBC3’s Britain’s Youngest Football Boss), Being Frank: The Frank Gardner Story for BBC2 and Caroline Flack: Her Life & Death for Channel 4. She now works across all Curious productions.
Iwona has a CIMA Advance Diploma in Management Accounting and 9 years of experience as a production accountant in the TV industry. She has more than twenty credits including American Murder for Netflix, The Moaning of Life for Sky 1, and Inside the Mind of Agatha Christie for Channel 5.
